The Caribbean Association of North Alabama is on a mission to make this year's Caribbean Day at the Park a tremendous success to trump the high watermark it received at last years event when over 400 enthusiasts attended this much anticipated event in Huntsville, Alabama.
Plans are on the way for mouth-watering cuisines, dynamic games (to make you feel like the good old days) and fantastic entertainment. An array of Caribbean style dishes will be served, from jerk chicken to stewed salt fish, from coco bread to dark rum cakes.
Over 600 people are expected to come and feast of the scrumptious delicacies before them and bask in the atmosphere of ONE LOVE.
The event which is to take place on Sunday, September 6, 2009 at Brahan Springs Park is open to the general public and all are invited to a display of an amazing assortment of Caribbean culture and experience.
The Huntsville drummers will be there; Renowned DJs from Nashville, Tennessee will be wooing the crowed with their bombastic entertainment; Visitors from as far away as Atlanta is expected to come to join the fun.
A stable of Caribbean favored games, such as lime and spoon, sack race hopscotch, musical chairs, domino and the like will be part of the mix.
It will be a sight to BEHOLD! Having said this, you are cordially invited
