  • it's really cute when Lucky tries to copy your giggles! The dog whining imitation is very convincing.

  • Hehe, she is my baby thats for sure. I love her so much. I am glad they live long time, because if something happend to her I don't know what I would do,

This was my first video I posted of her when she started to learn how to mimic well. It's amazing how fast they learn, from the time this video was made till the time my most recent one was made. They really do learn like little kids if you work with them.

  • There is another video in my collection named "African grey barking like a dog and playing with my dog" In there she says it more clearly, in this video here she says it softly and the camera did not pick it up to well not to mention my boyfriend was talking so it was harder to hear in this one, the other one I listed above you can clearly hear she says I don't know.

  • Why do you think a lot of them are pluckers? Birds are made to fly, people also get people to clip there wings just in case they get lose outside, thats mainly the ONLY legitamite reason. They are very proud birds and are much much more confident with wings and much less likley to pluck, never seen a grey pluck when it had its wings not clipped

  • rofl, thats a false statement to get people to clip the birds wings flat out!!! My bird flys around hallways and flys sideways and even stops in mid air and turns herself around and glides sideways around corners, the clip your birds wings is a white lie, ive seen it with many birds not just mine!

  • I did not hear the bird say I dont know. someone else was saying "shes going for your lips", or something like that.

  • please do some more i love her

  • My birds (quaker parrot and canary) fly freely around my house at safe times. They are confident flyers and are intelligent enough to avoid obstacles and to gain exercise when out of the cage. When parrots fly around the jungle they do not bump into trees!! Wing clipping is distressing and there is no need to do it!... it just takes a bit of common sense to keep your bird out of danger! Once out a clipped bird would find it very difficult to avoid a predator

  • You may be right Wizard, but plucking can be a result of many causes. A sick bird will pluck sometimes, and separation anxiety can cause it as well. Sometimes birds pluck simply because they don't like being a pet. There are many causes.

  • I don't clip may birds wing either, but I would hardly say the practice is "barbaric". It doesn't hurt the bird in any way.

  • Wing clipping is barbaric and should be banned, it is deliberately disabling the bird.
