  • I love the fact that 38pages says it looks a little like an Apple knock off. Thanks Einstein.

  • Absolutely awesome video, keep up the good work!!!

  • I 'm a Real - estate agents . I make $250,000 + a year from myself and 2 other cadets cold calling for a total 20 hrs a week. Sorry but cold calling got me my new BMW , so yes it works.

  • Simplistic. If cold calling as a technique was dead than nobody would use it still. But that is not true is it. Anyone who picks up a yellowpages and dials with the strategy being pure volume will have a negative feeling about cold calling and a low success rate. But if it is done intelligently it is an excellent compliment to inbound marketing. And certainly not a losers only game. That not backed up by facts.

  • Love it! Great video! HubSpot really knows how to put great videos together!

  • @ChesterTheChinchilla People will do ANYTHING to avoid the hard work of selling, including buying the idea that there's a magic way to create all the business you need without calling people. If their system was bringing in so much dough, wouldn't they be able to afford a professional video?

  • Funny, but misleading. Not every product or service is necessarily something that buyers are looking for on Google. My company generated over 1/2-million in sales strictly though cold calling. As munton5150 pointed out, the smart strategy is a one that combines various sales/marketing methods best suited for your type of business. Cold calling may not work for your business, but it's one of the most effective methods for ours.

  • great post

  • Apples to oranges. A smart strategy is a combination of cold calling and web marketing- the latter to be requalified with a phone call. Many prospects that click on a Google Ad are not qualified opportunities. Not every decision maker out there is willing to "hand" their business over by filling out a web form. Some of them understand that the vendors who"ask" for their business may be the ones they will award it to. There is no substitute for asking for net new business.
