It's very interesting indeed to see someone who was so adamant about liberating women with radicial ways of dressing and representing themselves in the public, but at the same time devoted much of her life to being "a kept woman of wealthy men", even if it meant sacrificing the reputation of her name and her business. Coco Chanel can still be admired if only for her exceptional talent, but I can't say as much for her life choices, but then again, we can all make mistakes in order to survive.
