斯蒂芬-馬布裡(Stephon Marbury)是北京鴨男籃的當家球星，他也受到了北京球迷的熱烈追捧，一位年僅11歲的名叫范媛琛的小女孩也是馬布裡的粉絲，不過媛媛並不能到比賽現場為馬布裡加油助­威，因為她因病需要住院，而她已經三個月沒有進食了。媛媛的父親在微博上對馬布裡表示希望他能夠到醫院看望自己的女兒，馬布裡在得知這一消息後迅速給出了肯定的答案。

「我會去看媛媛的，我會很榮幸地跟她分享我的故事，我會為鼓勵媛媛勇敢地治療下去而盡自己的綿薄之力。」據悉馬布裡將在明天(12月13日)去醫院探望小媛媛。

小媛媛目前居住在北京道培醫院，她在2008年不幸感染EB病毒導致慢性遷延逐步惡化為噬血細胞綜合症。半年前媛媛接受了骨髓移植手術，但是在7月底左右媛媛身上開始出現­嚴重的排異反應，病情一直有反覆，過去3個月都不能進食，只能靠輸養分液保持體力。



媛媛的爸爸在12月7日寫了以下的請求@馬布裡：



Dear Stephon：My daughter Yuanyuan can not eat anything for the past 3 months due to rejection after bone marrow transplant. She's now recovering and is allowed to be visited by other people。

She told me that you and her grandma are the one she most wanted to meet, so I'm writing to inquire whether you can kindly come down to meet my little girl. She's in Hangtian Hospital which's located in Yuquan Rd. Much appreciate for your kindness.


馬布裡看到該微博後，在12月8日給了回復：



Yes I will be there to visit. I would be honored to share my presence with your child. This is the least that I can do to lift the spirits of your child. I pray that peace can live in you through this challenging time. We will work out a date when I come back from off of the road.


馬政委一口承諾會在打完客場，回到北京後，找時間到醫院探望該小球迷。

最新消息，馬布裡明天(12月13日)早上會到醫院去見媛媛。

不管這小女孩以後怎樣，但個人相信，馬政委此次探望打氣，一定給媛媛帶去無限的激勵與希望。
