If you are "stuck in an office job you don't like" I doubt that changing how green you are is going to make a difference on how much you enjoy your job, it's completely irrelevant in most cases. "all the people you know working on climate change" are bound to be happy, they work on something they care about, anyone that works on something they care about will be happy about it
