Cardiovascular Sanofi Medical Animation

Medical animation created by KO Studios, commissioned by ScienceProd, Paris for Sanofi-Aventis. Animation shows how imbalances in the Renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system can lead to elevated blood pressures, damaging the heart muscle and leading to increased production of collagen, which stiffens the heart muscle leading to difficulty in pumping. The elevated load on the heart muscle causes ventricular wall thickening and decreased ability to pump, reducing oxygen to the body.
