@achtungpanzer182 Glad you like - my thoughts entirely. You may be interested to know that Sir Alan has an adjournment debate on Wednesday - he will be speaking about West Anglia railway. I will find it so strange seeing him addressing another deputy speaker after all that time

@bensimps123 No, Sir Alan is now a backbencher after the new system of elections for Deputy Speaker and the fact that there was a tory speaker meant that there couldn't be a tory Chairman of Ways and Means. I think Sir Alan is chair of a committee too
