It's a Killdeer and they lay their eggs out in the open. I consider this extreme abuse of a protected species. I wish fish and game had caught you at it.

If you put it in a bottle or cup it will suffocate! if its running away it OBVIOUSLY wants do escape your dirty, grubby little fingers! never freaking touch another poor animal, i will report abuse, and my six birds will destroy you! what do you say to that! >:(

@glumpot I forgot to mention though, birds can actually die of fright if handled, so it's best not to if you can help it. I'm sure the baby bird in the vid is fine though, if he was going to die of fright he would of done it right then... It's mostly adults that are at risk of getting so scared they die.

I don't think this us abuse at all. It's an innococent shannanagan every kid does. Me and my friend catch stuff like this all the time. We found a bird egg, incubated it, and gave it to the mom. She didnt accept it so we took it in, and trained it. It flew and stuff but we strapped a dollar to it's foot XD but I took it off because it was my friends idea. We saved it XD the egg was in a bad spot and we moved the nest. It was a sparrow or something. Ahhh memories...

U People Need To GET A LIFE If U Realy Think This Is Torture Or Animal Abuse. Y Dont U Waste Ur Time On Something That Would Actualy Help Abused Animals If U Care So Much. Posting STUPID Comments On An Innocent Video Is Not Gona Help Anything.
