DMC 2 was great & memorable, Devil Trigger was the best in the series (no one can argue against that), Combat Movement and gunplay were fluid, it ACTUALLY changed depending on how you moved Dante and he actually did crazy ass acrobatics and backflips, the only thing i will admit was that he could have had a few more one liners but the one liners he did give out were some of the best of the series, especially the "Here's your Crown" line.

we can all agree though, that DmC 5 is a fucking joke

To me I mean DMC 2 wasen't terrible, it was just to sketchy, and although I didn't mind how they developed his character, they still could of at least have threw in few wise cracks here an there, I believe a part of what makes DMC such a memorable series is not so much the plots that he's thrown in, but rather his character and personality.
