15th August Pyrothecnic Factory Explosion

This was shot from my balcony mere minutes after the explosion that occurred on the 13th August 2010. The fireworks factory is located exactly 1.05km away from my residence.

At 1500hrs I was sitting on my PC when the first in a series of 3 explosions occurred; at first the whole building rumbled and I was not sure what it was...

My first reaction was that it was either an earthquake or some other structural incident in the vicinity. My two dogs were scared to death, running around the place, barking and urinating.

The second explosion was bigger..when the blast arrived it literally shook all the window panes around the house and shook the whole area. I was scared shitless, and my neighbours were all out of their apartments in panic....
