Do you see how many musicians there are? Do you see how they fit the stage?

This stage was obviously not built with this many musicians in mind - it was a smaller hall. Nothing could be done for volume, short of denying players participation. Stop being so critical.

  • Balance was too loud. They had no where to crescendo too.

  • this sucks..way to fast..what in the hell was the director thinking!!!!

  • I had a blast being a part of this! I'm the second one in the second row!! Hope we get to do this again!

  • Playing with this many musicians was a blast...although hard to focus; I was surrounded by a flurry of sound in the back row.

Also, you should add West Michigan Concert Winds to the tags.

  • my band director is in here

  • It was an incredible experience to be on stage with so many musicians! The sound on stage gave me goosebumps--can't imagine what it sounded like from the audience. What an amazing day!

  • I never thought a stage could hold that many. It was a great experience, not withstanding the problems created by such a large group. Let's do it again! Thanks for posting.
