@z28original Actually Randy decided to leave BTO, because he wanted to do his own thing, his way. He called my dad to come play, because he thought he was a great musician.

@orthopolus77 I think my mom told me that Randy always got his song first on the album and Tom's were second. But I haven't ever heard the whole album. Can't seem to find it..... or if I did, no way to play it.

This came out when I was 18 y.o. so I could very much appreciate the electric charge inside it. On the other hand on Lp the music is somehow too "thin" and maybe it is time after all this years to make a good cover of it, shorter and with heavier drums. Refrain IS the song in this case, that is not an advantage for long term listening. I am pretty sure Toto could do something very good with this song as they did with their covers album "Through the Looking Glass".

Tom Sparks is MY dad! I never knew they made a video! I am so proud! Probably not one of Randy's better tunes, but it's definiately in my new top favs! Thanks to all the fans that listened to my dad!
