Well colin, you did it again, just what I needed too, a background after the main picture was done. Thanks again and keep them coming.
I have learnt sooooo much from you.

You indeed have one super hand

@TheLoCal333 Thank you for your kind comments. It would take too long to produce a completed Tiger but I do have a clip of a Tigers eye in my youtube collection.
Best regards Colin.

Fantastic work, thank you so much for sharing your knowledge. Much appreciated.
hello Colin....I was just watching one of your videos on an art video channel this morning, think you were drawing a white fluffy dog. I like your work.
What kind of pencils do you use for the detail, and do you use a blade to sharpen?

Thank you for your interest and comment. I use Faber-Castells Pitt pastel pencils and use a safety razor blade to sharpen them.
Kind regards Colin.

wow... it is amazing---
which paper do you use?
eviklein 2 years ago
Thank you for your kind comments. The pastel paper I prefer to use for all my work is 160 gram sand coloured Ingres. It can be difficult to find but we do supply it by mail order if you get stuck.
Best wishes Colin.

I love your tiger! It's amazing watching you do the background how many layers you put on! I'm just a raw beginner but I do enjoy this medium...so I'm going to keep watching to learn more about the "doing" part of it:) Looking at what you do I realize I stop way too early and don't add enough layers & detail. Thanks for your demos!
