This brings back memories. I played this in high school with the orchestra. It took a lot of practice for all the sections to blend seamlessly, but the final result was gorgeous. Of course it lacked the same effect as the organ, but it had its own charm.

I actually like this interpretation. It makes me want to learn how to play the organ.

This sounds like c sharp minor, not c minor (title says c minor?)

Its no doubt the temperament of this organ.

But this is C minor. I think this is mean tone temperament but I'm not sure.

Hans Fagius has a great technic but his interpretation is to me too agressive. I become nervous of his playing.

I think you're confusing this prelude with the piano preludes o.O
There's no way you saw the sheet for this without a third staff for foot pedal.

I haven't seen the sheet music for this, I was talking about the Prelude and Fugue from the first book. It just sounded like he meant that that was composed for Organ too.

It must be the Franz Liszt transcription then. I will send you a link to the original score.

It might be the Franz Liszt transcription then. I can't give you the link here but I will send you a message that leads to a site full of free music and the original BWV 549 score, I will even give you the right page.
