  • @gaconnochie Now, on to the Mother Island's Wild West! Will likely take a combined tour of Scotland & Northern England someday. I'd like to have a tower house for the Dark Age starting here! My favorite BB is Flowr of Northumberland, Alistair Hulett;s stirs my soul!! I have NO desire to see Roman crap in the S., LOL. I agree, Border folk had more in common with each other than with calmer folk on either side. Please pray for the USA, the Ferals are trying to overthrow the elected government!!!

  • @gaconnochie LOL & Amen!!! The omnipresence of Anglo-Celtic blood in the American gene pool means the poor ignorant jerk could be English, Scottish, Irish, all 3 or any combination, LOL! Some Americans are direct descendants of what came before, culturally, genetically & intellectually. Others are feral-- genetically descended but scorning all ongoing empirical knowledge, as if it should have been discarded with witch hunts!!! Now I will have to start a new post for the Wild Borders, LOL!

  • @OutlawMinniePearl You are absolutely right. I come from the Scottish Borders and have no idea where the other poster got their info from. Both the Scottish and English Borders suffered greatly from the Wars of Independence, and yes Scottish Borderers obviously identify with their English Borderer neighbours but they are as Scottish as anyone else. I have no idea who the 'Brits' are that supposedly never bothered the region - and why on earth would Ireland lay claim to the region? :-)

  • @4lingwo4 If TV & Disney haven't spelled it out, it couldn't be true? Your ignorance is less offensive than your arrogant presumption of spouting BS like it was truth! Ireland was a resource to exploit, not a traditional enemy (worse, really). The Wild Borders' song, literature & legend are famous even here! Making up History anyway you want s frowned upon in the civilized world!. Musta picked it up from Bush. You're the thick kind of yank that makes yanks with brains cringe in shame!!

  • 4lingwo4, i take it your neither Scottish English or Irish, judging from your comment's. Every word of what you have said is total rubbish. Who are these brits, god you really do make me laugh. And what home rule, and Ireland still lay's claim to her. Your the kind of thick yankee who thinks London is a country.

  • faboulous film, but this region of scotland was never bothered by the brits, they were very independant till home rule and worst enemy was ireland, who still lay claim to her??

  • great video, hope you enjoyed your visit
