    "Entitlement is unsustainable"

So are economies, so are a lot of things.

    "The so called surplus asset"

Things like SS is so successful that you had Republicans, like Bush, taking trillions out of it to hide the deficit. You want to help SS out? Remove the cap. Ensure the wealthy are actually paying into it and anyone who is working, is paying into it.

Wrong, people pay an additional tax JUST for this. Which makes it in the black by 30 trillion.... it is the *rest* of the economy that is in the red by another 100 trillion. The problem is that the military has been heavily borrowing money from social security... so that is where the cuts should come from.

The sad thing is that if 'job creators' were to pay better wages across the board and we didn't do away with pensions, maybe so many people wouldn't be so dependent on social security

Nevermind, I've read through many of your other comments...You're clearly standing on 100% political ideological based assertions which are not based on or in reality.

You can't have your cake and eat it too...There is no $100 trillion unfunded liability. This is a nonsense talking point. Conservative and liberal economists alike agree that it's not unfunded and changes can be easily made to address the foreseeable unfunded amount (MUST less than $100 trillion) with future budgets.
