@richsoule ty in my opinion i would get the elise sc with the sport pack so i can keep up with the exige on the track!

Great vid and that's a nice little track :)

I dont know what you mean?
When on a circuit the correct approach is to cross your arms in the tight corners. Its only on the road you shouldnt be crossing your arms.

this kind of racing is not my favourite, i doubt that car got over 80mph, you have to slow down so much and so often to take the curves, it takes a lot more talent than american style racing tho
-
ya i noticed a few turns by the elise that couldve been taken a lot better.. i thought you personally did a pretty good job for just sporting out there. neat vid.

Nice video!
Nice little circuit too.
Looks like the Elise driver drove on that circuit for the very first time: not a single curve taken correctly. But still: he has an Elise and I don't...
Mark.
which is faster exige or elise..

@UNDERRATEDMCS It really comes down to the driver much more than the car. Theoretically the increased downforce of an Exige can get you better speed through very high speed corners, but the better downforce can also increase drag which could mean that top speed could be lower. In practice it really comes down to the driver.

@richsoule is there a BIG difference in the two enginewise?-
UNDERRATEDMCS 1 year ago
@UNDERRATEDMCS For that year, the engines were completely identical. In later years the Exige engines became supercharged (eventually the supercharger became an option on an Elise too).

you should never cross your arms when steering. . . .a big racing no-no. . .

In general, sure. But this isn't a race and I can still turn the wheel even more if I need to. That said, turning the wheel any farther in that corner would put me off the track. The Exige has a very small diameter wheel that allows me to 'get away' with this in that corner.
