  • We are very sorry to hear about your loss of your beloved Casper. Our Misty Bear passed away 6 years ago, and we miss her so much. Cherish your sweet memories of Casper until you see him again in Heaven.

  • We just got home from the UP and saw your comment. I am glad you enjoyed watching the video! Thanks for commenting. Art and Julie

  • I loved your video and am thinking of getting an Eskie..I had a Lab and was wondering if u know how their temperments are comparked with the Lab. I had read that Eskies don't like being left alone for extended amount of time, or they will be destructive...is that true? Thank you for your time

  • Thanks for contacting us about our video. Glad you enjoyed it. Eskies are high energy, and very vocal. They seem to bartk at everything and everybody that gets close to our house. Great watchdogs! We leave our dogs alone for up to 6 hours and they have never destroyed anything. The just sleep until we get home. Good luck picking out the right breed for you.

  • @artjuliek Thank you sooooooo much for responding back to me. I appreciate that.

Do they have high pitch barks or deep bark? Or is it different with every Eskie?

Again, thank you for your time.

  • Well, it's kind of a higher pitch bark...and it tends to be NON-STOP barking for a few minuites until they settle down. The barking became worse after we got the second dog...they seemed to feed off of each other's energy. Our dogs have different sounding barks. The larger the dog, the deeper the tone. Sometimes when they bark it feels like nails are being pounded into my eardrums! Sure wish they didn't bark so much.

  • Hello to those who are coming to see this video :) There is serious need for eskie adopters these days. To adopt from a shelter, visit PetHarbor. To adopt from a rescue, visit Petfinder or AdoptAPet. If you adopt from a breeder make sure they are a 'real' breeder (serious about the breed) (they will arrange for a rep to do a "home check" for your pup's safety). Thank you for your interest in saving the American Eskimo breed.
