  • was skillet a christian band back then as well?

  • Yes they were :)

  • was that korey at the end? i think her and john were together back then but she wasnt in the band

  • Yeah, I think she appears fleetingly in this video,

  • Thanks so much for posting! Where'd you get it?

  • I got it from my "Hey you, I love your soul" cd, it had some enhanced cd bonus material including this interview and the music video for "Saturn".

  • LOL Jhons plad pants

  • You could say I cherish their "entire catalogue." Sure, there were some bumps in the road. But they've churned out a lot of good music over the years. "My Beautiful Robe," "More Faithful," "You Take My Rights Away," "Savior," and "Awake And Alive" are my favs...if I had to narrow it down.

  • Wow I was 4 when this video was made... lol

  • Why does everyone think Awake was so bad?? I LOVED it. It's my favorite. I mean, with Awake and Alive, Forgiven, Believe, Would it Matter, It's not me its you...It's insane. I love it.

  • Thanks for uploading this! I've got this on CD but the video doesn't work on my new computer

  • @Rawk4Life I have been listening to skillet since 99 or 00. I was really not impressed with Awake. That was mostly a depressing/ballad album imo. Alien Youth is my favorite album by them.

  • Way to downgrade Skillet just because you hadn't heard of them until 2003's "Collide." I guarantee you none of the original 3 guys felt the band was pathetic at anytime in their career. By the way, their latest album "Awake" has been hailed by critics as one of their worst albums. It's not their worst, but with Ben no longer in the band and John and Korey's kids about to enter grade school, I don't think Skillet will be around in the next 10 years.

  • Korey is at 2:03 actually. The lady at the end is someone different.

  • Who thinks Skillet should do a double live set for their 20th anniversary in 2016? First set be of the current lineup, second be just the original 3 as shown here in this video.

  • wow....they kinda looked pathetic.even john.but thank god they did'nt give up because if they had gave up we woudnt be able to hear great songs such as rebirthing, monster, awake and alive, or forsaken.
