Total destruction of a guitar by John Hegre, Musica Genera Festival, Szczecin, Poland. This was supposed to be Jazkamer (former Jazzkammer) set, but Lasse Marhaug could't come to the festival for health reasons, so Hegre played solo. This is not the complete performance, just a mix of three short clips from the beginning, middle and end of the set. The sound live was really powerful. The real action begins just after the 1 minute mark ;-)

  • Yes, it's terrible "pointless" noise, not music, what's the problem with that? These guys are not hoping you or anyone call them "talented", they are just D.I.Y. warriors strongly rooted in metal and punk ethics. I'm not saying this is Olivier Messiaen or Gustav Mahler instead. Oh wait...maybe you think prog rock is a meaningful art and not a 70s trend? I thought you liked..oh, forget it. It's OK, go listen to some modes/scales and other XIXth-isms. Viva Russolo and excuse my poor english.

  • they should make a guitar hero game like this.
