seems somebody didn't get the joke.
rap or basketball is what these kids ACTUALLY BELIEVE will get them out of the ghetto. So instead of learning something useful and later earning real money, 99.9% fail at becoming 50cent and end up living with their mum, working minimum wage jobs or getting shot in a gang fight.

@egr467-not all nec true. most kids in minority neighborhoods live in schools systems that are the worst in the country. Private own sectors take advantage of the poor and put up charter schools that are no better that public schools. There are many kids from the hood that want to go to college and so forth. They have traps for that called predatory lending. I know bc im from the hood and I am an organizer. no argument just saying..
