No facepalm here. Strange how when atheists use a load of crooked numbers to assert their superiority everything is okay. But when someone suggest another contra indicative fact suddenly it becaomes a .................facepalm?

@hdregmore the facepalm is not only for the false "fact" she says,which if you actually look at the stats is actually UNTRUE. but for the superpower thing she says, if you actually agree with the superpower thing you are in denial and slightly insane.

there is no denial, she is just wrong, maybe you should look at the stats, but lets be honest, you wont, you just like thinking you are correct and pesky facts wont get in the way of that.

@FrisianDude That's like saying what's the point in pulling a reserve shoot after your original parachute failed. Yes it could fail just as the first did, but the possibility hardly justifies the suggestion that it might be pointless to try in case it fails. If you're in a no win scenario, you can't sink further, just faster. :P

Ok, my philosophy tutor presented me with the example of impending doom. Imagine if you will that you have a man of faith (most likely an optimist) and a man without faith (most certainly a cynic or pessimist). The optimist is less likely to do anything about a situation but the pessimist's increased amount of critical thought means that they're more likely to consider a way out, because they don't believe anyone can help them other than themselves. There's my argument.
