please no. why do they have to ruin all the good books. its a book not a movie. it was crafted to be read. let the book you keep you up late everynight, knowing on the other side of your bedroom door there is an infinite abyss of black hall way and echoing screams (only to find that behind that door is your dimly lit hallway). so much impact of the book will be lost in the movie. in real image. (like ross817 said, if they did the navidson record, and (here's the tricky part) well, itcould begood

Im reading this book right now. Its intense. But i think they could turn it into a movie. Of course, turning the ENTIRE book into a movie would be impossible, because of all the different layers, not to mention references to things like the Whalestoe letters, which aren't directly in the book. But a recreation of the Navidson Record documentary would be entirely possible, considering it was, after all, a filmed documentary to begin with.

@ross817 That is the part I want to see too, I want to see the Navidson Record turned into a movie. I think the rest just would not fit well in movie form though good in written form. I want to see this strange realm brought to life, unfortunately my guess it would either come out to dark to see anything or to computerized and fake looking to send chills down my spine. Nothing really compares to one's imagination, a strange part of me would love to explore that house sans the being absorbed.
