Re: Gmail: A Behind the Scenes Video

Growing Gmail. This video was submitted, and picked, to be part of the viral Gmail commercial. Why don't you see it in the mix? Because I got the Gmail video editing team's email request to send the full file over to California, to late in the process. They had already 'wrapped' the edit session for the final cut, before I had a chance to submit anything. It also would have been appreciated if the Gmail team emailed me directly, and was a bit more clear about who they were and what they needed me to do in order to get them the film. Instead, their query email looked a lot like Spam and I didn't really trust that it was really Gmail who wanted the video, rather than some random video-stealing robot. Oh well, I was glad they liked it and I had a lot of fun filming this 9 second clip in the garden with my husband, who figured out the genius idea of how to make the plant actually grow on film. -Lisa
