realflow made sand animation for the one who is interested. 3dsmax was used to render. maybe spiderman like sandman could be done. hehe

ANSWERING to QUESTION what was the surface tension and viscosity?

tension was default, viscosity was high. about 20-30.

what things you did in after effect to enhanse the effect ?

i duplicated layers in after efect. simply copy the rendered image twice or more. and then i changed position a little bit each layer to cover the dark spaces(cos particles weren't that much). the you need to add Revision Motion Blur plugin to add mblur.
