Donna is about 31 years old when this song came out.

Donna has been a part of my life for over 33 years--1/3 of a century. She was a cool person, talented, flashy and feminine and made great music.

She is like a really cool, accepting and tolerant adult female friend I could have known in junior high even though I never met her. A huge loss to the world of music. Hearing her on the radio will never feel the same now that she is gone. All her uplifting songs will now have some sadness to them.

Donna Summer was one of the great singers of all time! She was the Queen of Disco. I can't even think of the late 70's without remembering her. Her music was always playing on the radio. She had an amazing voice and was a true original. Donna, you are missed by many.

i still remember vividly driving home from college thru TN 33 years ago and listening to this enchanting song :"on the radio" as the DJ at the radio station was clearly as mesmerized by it as so many others were. A great artist with original sounds, thanks for the memories Donna..
