He makes an interesting point, why would the whole vast universe be created, but the only life anywhere is on 1 tiny planet in 1 solar system out of millions? It doesn't make sense.
I think humans are still too dangerous to learn about all the other kinds of life out there. Once we've solved the basic problems of living on our planet in peace instead of war, we will be allowed to find out more.
I think we will naturally discover more about life on other planets when the time is right.
