Even a New York city-slicker like me loves George! You can't deny his connection to the real heart of the music that is uniquely American! "Cup of Loneliness" is one of the spiritual songs that rivals "White Lightning" and "Who Shot Sam?" and although, not as goofy; makes you feel just as good!

Fantastic! There is an earlier version, done possibly in '54 or something wherein george Jones sings it at least 1/3 faster, like a horse race caller. I'd love to hear that one too. Thank you for putting this version up. It's Great!
