Prince of Persia Rival Swords-Sand Portal Glitch

NOTE: This is RIVAL SWORDS, PSP ver, not the original PS2 ver, Gc, XBox or Wii ver(The wii ver is also rival swords, but pretty much the Gc ver with motion sensing controls, and somewhat bad graphics), the new area is EXcLUSIVE to the PSP Ver
Anyway, this happened to me by accident (in the video I did it on purpose to demonstrate) when I jumped off the wall, and landed on the portal, I died but still went through the portal, and of course, when I came out I THEN got a Game Over

I have the PS2 ver too, anyway, I think it was the gardens, not the hanging gardens (near where the last sand gate is)

What the hell? I can't get into the sand portal exculsive areas on my PSP version. It just gives me the powers/sand credits right after I've killed all the guards, like in Two Thrones. Why is this? Did Ubisoft only release a few copies with these areas on the disc or are they exculsive to a particular country or something? Man, I really want to explore these new areas:(
