Shot in November, 2007 over the course of 2 1/2 weeks in Kenya, this video is just a short overview of some of the stuff that I experienced. We came across leprosy, unexplained blindness, extreme poverty and everything else that you might expect to see in Africa. However, the amazing culture, the love of the people, the beautiful countryside make Kenya one of my favorite countries that I've ever experienced.
It is indigenous cultures like this that we need more of in the world, without them being corrupted by mainstream religions. I am so happy to see these men helping these children! I also hope that they get help maintaining their own culture.
I want to see the oil companies that are making billions of dollars from the oil in Africa to be held accountable and put the money back into the community, in the form of water filters, and not just wells, which can go dry in 10-50 yrs

Joe, i can hardly wait to see the finished product. Just like I told Jamie, a part of my heart is still there. You and Rob worked so in tandem to express the needs physically and spiritually. Thanks for making me laugh and introduce me to Tyrone Wells music. You are crazy and contagious for God.

Hi Joe! I love your video! Kerry and I are both heartbroken over the suffering of people in our world, especially the children. If we would all do just a little we could make such a huge impact. The things we take for granted each day are so desperately needed in other countries, including the hope that comes from God. Thank you for going and making a difference in people's lives and for making the video that can open other's eyes to the suffering and inspire them to help.Janice
