i was in kirkuk iraq from 07-08 i was with b.co 2-22 10th mtn div 1st plt we built patrol base out in sector and not to long after we completed the build it was hit with a vbied of over 2000 pounds we lost a grate squad leader that day and alot of my friends where wounded i am now retired but i would love nothing more then to go back and do justice for my brothers who was killed those 15 months we was their it was by no means a "soft deployment" like we was told.... @whityboyut: Workin hard in school will help you when you go to take the ASVAB test before you enlist. Regardless if you join or not, your mind is your most deadly weapon, so keep them grades up and stay out of jail. The Army is a great life, but sucks sometimes too just like any other job. Chances of you bein in the platoon you see here are slim to none, but joining the division (25th ID) is highly possible as long as they have open slots. Recruiters will tell you anything you wanna know.

Do u have to have good grades to go into the army I just got outta juvenile and I am turning my life towered joining the army I finished 9 th grade just about I'm supposed to be a 10 th grader and I wanna join the 3rd platoon how can I achieve my goal
