I got a Sesame Street album with this song on it, and Close Encounters came out after I got the record, so I recognized the song when I heard it in the movie. I don't ever remember actually hearing the song on Sesame Street. Did Susan sing it? The person singing the song here doesn't sound like Susan.

I've been looking for this song forever. I used to have this album as a kid Mr. Pickwick And The Funlearn Company - Sing Sesame Street SPC 5115 that had this song on it.

This is the same version done by the Pickwick Children's Chorus. My album also has songs from the Archies, Bozo, and the movie theme from Pufnstuf. Susan (Loretta Long) did record the official Sesame Street version.
