  • @peterroen Wow. Your ignorant. I hate guitarfags who think that anything digital can't be considered an instrument. We're in 2011, bro and you're a caveman. It's not like you can't use both.

  • its like you can get software that makes music on your pc like flstudio. only purist realfags never see the benefit of technology and what it can do, all neatly demonstrated here. its hard to understand WHy people hate electronic things, one of the top comments in another video "its a plastic guitar with an ipad in it" so what? an instrument serves one purpose only, a tool to create music, not fucking appearance. i hate that shallowness as well

  • I hate music composed on your computer and when it's played "Live, all your doing is plugging in a laptop to some speakers and pressing a button or two to slightly variate the sound. But this instrument takes skill and talent every time you make the music.

  • @monzr93 the same argument is said for extended-range guitars where players may not use all strings but want the width and/or length of the neck for comfort in the hands and arms and only care to use lowest-notes. whats to say an 8 string guitar is any less than the original 6? its just "interpreted" ultimately all instruments do the same job

  • @monzr93 the company do not claim it as a replacement of conventional guitar. also the sound presets are long and far between in comparison, where you can sculpt it on pc.skill isn't synonymous with good music! but i understand your comparison with the meal scenario but it does depend, i prefer junk food but i eat healthy cus i have to, the same restriction are not present here. a guitar that cost 10k does not mean its any better than one that cost 1k its always about function

  • @SwirlyBrokenHearts It's not about appearance, and it's not about hating technology. The sound just isn't the same... And it takes more skill to master an actual instrument than a digital replica of it. It's kinda like microwave food and your mom's cooking: when you have a microwave meal, it could taste good, sure; but when your mom makes you food, you appreciate her effort. Same thing applies here I guess. Instruments > synthesizers. I hope this clarifies the purists' point of view

  • me too!!!

  • @larry52333

Personally, I'm a guitarist, and this is the best thing i've ever seen.

  • ooh, i want one of these so bad, i get sick when i realize i don't have one..

  • i'd love to get my hands on one of these. i prefer the feel and tone that a real guitar delivers but damn i could get so many effects out of this. i can see this become popular in the future.

  • :D pendulum uses it :D

  • i can see potential in this product.. not bad at all !
