in urban fight you need to clear the buildings and thats why the PPSH was the iconic weapon for Stalingrad Battle. Hight fire rate , hight reliability. Another thing about AK is a shape of a spread, its a vertical elipse and AR have a circular spread. Now if you shooting full auto the overal hit rate of AK will be higher than AR, and it because of shape of spread. I have shoot the AR in army and i must say that at 50m shooting semi auto is somewhat ankward... auto would do the job))

AK is stand alone complex that is good for army in ANY place on earth! the alloy used in AK barrel is withstanding heat wery well and can support up to 4 magazines countinious rapid fire, wich AR cant. Everage person on open feild can see up to 5km(courvedge of earth), at 1km because of dust and temperature differeces you allmost cant see a human shape, at 500 you have hard time indentifying body parts, at 300 you can shoot semi fire with open sights. now thats in open... and in city? X)

The AR is more accurate even to the trained shooter. The smaller round means less recoil so quicker target acquisition after each shot... the AK barrel shakes after being shot (check a slow motion video of an AK and see what the barrel does), so you have to slow down your shots to increase accuracy. But as one viewer said before, I'd take the AK for an army. I'd take the AR for myself.

@TheBigone979 The only reason there are so many in the world is 1. It was sold by the Soviets, so it's easier to get on the black market, 2. It's cheap and easy to build, and 3. Any idiot can operate one. Terrorists don't have M16s because the U.S. isn't going to allow it to hit the black market and it's too complicated for the average person to maintain.

@HunterKiller308 Such an awesome addition to the AR Market. The aluminum magazines are cool and retro and what not, but the durability of the PMAG is amazing.

@begeezy986 Accuracy is relative, mainly to the user and the distance. There're guys out there that can shoot a clothes pin at 200 yards with an ak, and then there are people who couldn't hit the broad side of a barn from 20 yards (obviously over-exaggerating, but you get the point). As for reliable, the AK is obviously the more reliable weapon. You don't hear of many jams. But then again, you can shoot hundreds of thousands of rounds from an AR with 0 jams. Every gun is different.

I like all the toys you can put on the AR
great comparison.
i like that you went through the point quickly...well, 30 mins isn't quick, LOL, but you didn't make 5 videos that are 20 mins each.
i'm shopping for one right now and it's def a tough choice selecting between the 2 of them.
