same. picks have their applications, but i play fingerstyle no matter what.

A lot of metal bassists use picks in favor of fingerpicking because it's easier to play at the extreme speeds with a pick and often will produce a crisper, more defined tone that stands out more in the wall of sound

Actually, the audio is strait via a mackie 2408 mixer. I used my camera's XLR inputs to capture the mixed live audio, I disabled my camera's onboard mic. I didn't mix the audio though, I just used the board's outputs. I would have mixed it MUCH differently!
