Still in early beta, but the picture of what it's going to be like is definitely getting clearer. -Chris over at TGW (URL below)

  • it's not that they don't want to. it's the ability of the developers and "hackers" to design and implement the possibility to run something that was not meant to in the first place.

it's a fun challenge of experimentation not necessarily meant for full production use.

  • Actually it is true, cause i've owned all of them. I now have the iphone an even though the iphone has more apps than any phone on earth most of them are for entertainment..pointless. A credit card app on your phone...tell me who would let someone copy thier card info to a cell phone? you obviously don't know how to use a windows mobile device it is a smaller version of your PC. I can show you an app and or a web service that can be used to accomplish anything via windows mobile device.

  • not true in order to customize it, you have to hack it which kinda defeats the whole purpose, and there are more apps for the iphone or even android than wm

  • because windows mobile phone are the most customizable phone on the market that can be made to mock any OS system, and their are thousand of apps for windows mobile operating systems.

  • maybe they are comfortable with the winmo hardware or are stuck in a contract

  • Its funny how people buy a windows mobile phone and dont want to run windows mobile on it.

P.S. why dont people just buy an android phone

  • Great video man! I have one too, and am currently using the L26 v9 rom, and for me its probably as good as it will get for WM. i cant wait until we can run android natively and kick WM to the curb!
