My rendition of this American traditional song which warns all fair and tender ladies to avoid 'Dodgy Geezers'...Couldn't agree more!!! Accompanyment is on 5 string banjo in a Clawhammer Style-ee.

  • I keep coming back to this. Several dozens of those "views" are mine! I am also trying to learn to play it this way on my Deering.

  • Thanks for comments. Good luck with learning it. The chords are pretty simple C, G, Em & Am...some are played up the neck. The lead break is built around at C Barr position on the 5th fret. All is with Capo on second fret ant 5th string up to A.

  • A lovely version of this fine song - thanks

  • Dang man!! That was a great rendition!

  • Right. I can see and hear most of what you're doing, although I missed the Am in at least one spot. The quick switch up to the G (holding F position at fifth fret) and back is a nice touch, right before each verse.

  • At first I didn't really like this. But by the middle I started to like it. Then I listened to it a few more times. Now I really like it and want to learn this tune. Well done! Super!

  • good one mate, nice to hear it again.

  • nice tune dude....well done...i love it !
