@windstorm1000 There's so much for the soloist to do that few can do it well enough to perform it in public:) I'm not a violinist, but I've been told that Paganini began composing because, as the world's greatest violin virtuoso up to his time, he felt there was no music that showcased his abilities. Being able to play this piece is a lifelong dream for many students of the violin.

@imranbug81, the stick is to communicate beat and tempo, dynamics, cueing and other musical elements. See 'conducting' on Wikipedia. Notes are in front of the musicians indeed.

what do we call the guy who leads the symphony and what is he trying to communicate with his stick... the notes...??? don't they have the notes right in front of them. >??

I am playing violin for 6 years and im gonna continue it. You cant know how much is it difficult. She is just amazing and she will be much better at the future.
