This is my 1991 Dakota. Brief history: got her for nearly nothing from my uncle who got it for free. Over the past 2 1/2 years we replaced a few parts ie. radiator, O2 sensor, alternator and small things. This summer I installed the stacks; a 7 hour ordeal, but well worth it. They are 4 inch Grand Rock stacks, turnout style. The trucks got a lot of miles, but its running well. Im debating about putting a cold air intake. If I do ill post a video.

Thanks for watching.

  • im totally doing this to mine 97 3.9! how much were they, and does it ruin gas mileage?

  • @voltage6969 i don't really know haha

  • did the cops bug you at all about the noise? im thinkin of puttin some stacks on my 94 dakota

  • @dingklop I'm surprised not. I think it really depends on the cop. I mean i did get busted for doing donuts and drifting in the woods by my school at night. The only way they knew i was there was because of the sound :/ . And I've been pulled over otherwise, but not really for the sound. So i guess it depends.

  • thank you for puttin up this video because i have the same truck but with the 5.2 and its a 91 2 door and a brush guard and i was thinkin about puttin stacks on mine and this video made me say yes. chech out one of my videos tell me what u think of mine

  • @zoltan1134 :D Suuuurrrrreeee Lol

  • @Chevy4x4shortbox haha Its more about looks than anything and maybe sound in my case.

  • @Chevy4x4shortbox Well good. I am glad you see my point. Putting stack's on a diesel pickup is pointless as well as putting them on a gas truck.

  • @CSXtrackworker no shit Einstein.

  • @Chevy4x4shortbox and neither is a diesel pickup an 18 wheeler.
