We quite like some Take That songs, but for years we've watched Robbie Williams gigs on the TV with jealousy as they looked like SO much fun. Finally we got to go to one - as it was the year Robbie rejoined with Take That to do the new Progress album and a huge tour.
Take That did about 5 songs (just the four of them) and then Robbie came on and did about the same. (later they all came out and did stuff as the 5 piece Take That.
This was the last Take That (4 piece) song 'Shine' which goes straight into Robbie's (amazing) entrance with 'Let Me Entertain You'. This man REALLY knows how to electrify a crowd!
If you ever get the chance to go to an actual gig, DO SO. Being in the middle of 55,000 people all singing the same song is a fabulous experience! It's loads better than it looks on telly... and that's amazing enough as it is!
