What happened to the OLD Weather Channel. The Weather Channel I remember from the late 80's and 1990's? If you ask me...I'd rather NOT Wake up with Al. Hopefully this piece of crap will be taken off the air. Bring back the old Weather Channel.

@ty2 Then whenever it's winter, why do they always complain about the cold air? When ever there a snowstorm, they send Jim Cantore there to cover it and they are always going crazy over snowstorms. They premise because they want to keep you interested, other wise people wouldn't watch The Weather Channel.

@GTAIVman at the Weather Channel there is no such thing as a simple weather event. When it is 90 degrees outside they act like people's skin is actually melting, etc. etc. They never let you know that these things have happened since the beginning of time and a lot of our worst storms and conditions have occurred hundreds of years or even thousands of years ago. They always want you to think the current is the worst because they want you to think Global Warming is causing the weather phenomenon

@GTAIVman The Weather Channel is about pushing Global Warming and environmentalism. So, they sensationalize because the premise behind Global Warming is that the weather is getting worse because of man. So, whenever we have a rain shower they call it a torrential downpour. Whenever it hails or their is a possibility for a small tornado they send Jim Cantore out into the middle of it to scream and brace himself and act like the world is ending. When we have hurricanes they do the same.

The Weather Channel is being run by a bunch of environmental wackos who are pushing a liberal agenda of global warming, disastrous weather (i.e. - the end of the world), and other such things. They are progressives. That is why they ditch the desk and sit in sofas. That is why they have these young immature meteorologists who would rather sensationalize then just report the forecast and the current conditions.The format has become so unprofessional.

If the show from 6-7 AM Eastern and 10-11 AM Eastern was entitled "Wake up with Marshall [Seese] and Heather [Tesch]" I would DEFINITELY watch it!!! But now i shut the TV off on weekday just before 10 AM and turn it back on at 11 AM on the nose to watch day planner with actual METEOROLOGISTS!!!
