The winner walks off stage with one set record deal with AI. The runner-up walks off stage with at least 20 offers, all better than AI's.

Mmm , both of them ( adam and kris ) are cute , both of them have a great talent .

he already is a winner in every factor of becoming a rockstar in my eyes. im glad he didnt win thou because people will forever describe him as 'that ai champ'.
kris actually deserves it. because without it, he's nothing more than this humble, shy typical singer. adam doesn't need it, he doesn't need american idol crap to tell him that he is a winner. can't wait for his album!
