Showing a lack of leadership is not unusual for Canada's Prime Minister Stephen Harper, especially as it relates to climate change and global warming, war in Afghanistan or anything to do with Canada, so it is good to hear that other heads of state are attending the Denmark Climate Conference.
Our little Napoleon wanna be wouldn't commit to attending the Denmark Climate Conference until he knew that other heads of state would be in attendance. Way to lead.

He also likes to point to other emerging economies as being the evil in green house gasses, I don't think we have a moral ground to be pointing fingers.

  • I agree Harper is not a really good leader...I didn't like Martin before him neither..I think we need someone that accently cares about Canada not just someone that cares just to make a paycheck!!

  • I agree, I have no faith or trust in the Liberals or the NDP. I wish for a leader that puts the Country and citizens before 'party politics.' We have a low voter turn out because we just don't feel that there is a choice, the thought being - they are all the same. Mainstream media does little to challenge the politicians on their stand and position. I do not have all the answers but I feel we have to ask questions and stand up for ourselves.

    We have to get engaged.

  • Well if I was, I would start with yours.

  • Thank goodness you arent the leader of a country.

  • There's little (poor) or no public transportation from the valley into Vancouver - that's why most you'll see alot of cars with just 1 person. Eg. If a person lives in Mission, they can go by bus to Abbotsford & back & that's it. So instead of spending money on better public transportation, what does the government do??? Spend millions (if not billions) in widening the freeway & making the Port Mann Bridge (the one your were on) wider. This ticked off alot of people in the Fraser Valley.

  • I also have great "agree to disagree" conversations with my brother-in-law. Has his PhD, works for the Cdn Fed government, does talks on anthropogenic climate change, amongst other things.

  • Let's hope not anyway. That's all we need - more taxes, world government, signing away Canada's rights, etc, etc.

People, don't take my word for it - do your research - don't believe everything your government tells you. Look up ClimateGate.

  • Thank goodness Harper doesn't buy into the global warming hoax.
