@jimmymohoney , Watson is cutting edge technology made by IBM research labs, storing all of its information in the computer, not relying on the internet at all. This means that by playing against the best jeopardy players in the world it has to have the answers somewhere in memory, and the algorithms capable of finding them before its opponent's answer; this of course this isn't impressive because it takes up a large portion of the room. Don't associate large with inferior please, it's naive.

yeh i doubt thats actually a good super computer because most take up an entire room or more...
