  • thats not a fia. fia has corners poking out its trunk because to race they had to be able to fit a suitcase in the trunk so they made the shape of a suitcase in the trunk.

  • True but do some research as not all FIAs had the square trunk, some even had a cord to hold the trunk down.

  • I believe what your referring to is the U.S. Road Racing Championship series (USRRC) which required the "suit case". The FIA is an international series and did not require it. Sometimes the races were run together so the suit case dents were required.

    if so...do you think this cam will go in a 289 without pistons with the valve reliefs?
