@neworder18 havent u heard of all the moisture in seattle and rain thats why when dry snow presses up against the wet soil it makes wet snow

What midwesterners also don't understand is their snow is very dry and powdery, and blows away easily. Seattles snow is slushy and wet, and packs very tightly easily, and is what is called greasy snow.

This snow hit basically all of Washington, and Eastern Washington got it 10x worse if you can imagine. I think the driver is on I-5 at one point, near downtown. Not too sure though!
