ABCFilmPromo by Brett Hansen (2011)

15 second animated promo for 612 ABC Radio in Brisbane.
Animation by Brett Hansen.
Voices: Brett Hansen, Jen Hansen, Spencer Howson.
Radio Voices: Madonna King, Richard Fidler, Spencer Howson, Kelly Higgins-Devine.

Soundtrack was recorded and edited first using Audacity.
Then every sound and syllable was timed out and recorded (in writing) onto a "dope sheet" to show what frames each sound and syllable will fall on.

Animation was hand drawn in pencil on paper, then inked with fiber tip markers. Then all the drawings were scanned into the computer, resized, coloured and edited together frame by frame in Adobe Photoshop CS5. Then, while still in Photoshop, it was rendered into a movie.

Movie was imported into Adobe Premiere Pro CS5 and matched up with the soundtrack. Then the zoom effects were added. Once everything was in order, it was exported as an mpeg2.
