SKYRIM - Taking Care of Business Glitch work around.

Shout at Brynjolf with the UNRELENTING FORCE Shout as he stands in the Market. Brynjolf will begin to chase and attack you, lead him down to the entrance for the Ratway. Get him as close to the door as possible and beat him until he goes down. As soon as you see Brynjolf start to get up enter the Ratway. If done correctly he will appear in the Ratway with you and start to chase and attack you again. Lead him to the Ragged Flagon entrance and beat him again. Wait for him to get up and open then door, once in the Ragged Flagon sheath your weapon and talk to him. You just took care of business the hard way!

This works on XBOX 360 and PS3

Mine still won't work. Looks like I'll just have to stop playing the game half way through :( Also I was just wondering if anybody else on here tried downloading a game update tosolve the problem? I downloaded the update yesterday (actually it was downloaded automatically) and it made no difference.

Why is your brynjolf wearing armor and mine wears robes? It didn't work for me, although he did talk to the other npcs so that's a start, any responses?

It's great to see that this video has helped so many people. Unfortunately, myself and several others are still having problems even after attempting this method. In my case, having followed this exact method, Brynjolf still won't talk to me when I sheath my sword in front of the bar in the Flagon. He just says "hmm" and begins walking away. This is soooooo frustrating....
