Plague Ridden / In the Dark

"Brutal Horror Metal from the UK"

Plague Ridden are a Horror Metal band from the UK which was created by Darren (Lead guitar) and Ross (vocals).
The band started this sickness in October 2004 where the rough demo "Amongst the Breathless" was recorded by Ross, Darren, Jason and Ollie. Justin then joined the band November 2004 to complete the full dedicated line-up.

After six months of creating songs they had there first gig at the Ice Bar in Ipswich on June 6th which got a very good response and DvD recorded by Dru - Downloads of the gig can by found on the website.
One month later and the band played there second gig far away from home in Sheffield July 24th at the Steel City Metal festival.

This then led to gigs over the UK which inc supporting Austrias' brutal death metal Violent Devoties and gained themselfs a good following.
In this time they also had a live recording of "In the Dark" done to show the improvments they have made to the band in a few short months.

Currently the band have more gigs lined up and are soon releasing there EP titled "Embodiment of Sickness" which will then be followed by lots more gigs all over the UK.

They are just the effects built in to the

Sony DCR-HC44 which is what I used.

I never realised this vid was on here. Brings back some good memories. Really happy with how the drums sound on the little bit before the main song starts.
